sale@chinakytravel.comAs an ancient saying goes, "Read ten thousand volumes, and travel ten thousand miles." In the classroom, we savor the written word; on the road, we come to truly understand the landscape. To fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing people, and to put into practice the educational philosophy of "simultaneous development of five domains," Hangzhou Kangyi International Travel Service Co., Ltd. organized and executed a youth study tour connecting Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou. A group of young students traveled across thousands of miles to these three historically and culturally rich cities. Leaving behind the confines of the classroom, they used their feet as brushes and the landscape as their canvas. Through on-site explorations, they delved into the millennia-old Chinese civilization, experienced the spirit of development in the new era through immersive activities, and established their own youthful aspirations through firsthand experiences and observations—gaining an extraordinary journey of growth.

The first stop of this study tour brought everyone to the modern metropolis of Shanghai for an on-site lesson witnessing the nation's development. The students ascended the Oriental Pearl Tower, gazing down from above at the banks of the Huangpu River. Towering skyscrapers lined both sides, and the city's thoroughfares stretched out in all directions. The expansive and magnificent urban panorama unfolding before their eyes gave every student a tangible and direct sense of the brilliant achievements brought about by the nation's rapid development since the reform and opening-up. Strolling along the Bund waterfront promenade, they saw on one side the century-old international architectural complex, weathered by time and bearing witness to the city's hundred-year history; across the river stood the modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui. The striking visual contrast between the old and the new allowed them to personally comprehend the profound transformations behind the city's changes and the nation's steady rise to prosperity.

The tour then proceeded to the China Art Museum and the Shanghai Museum, which house countless fine art treasures and precious historical artifacts. The students walked through the galleries at a leisurely pace, carefully observing each exhibit. Through the brushwork, ink paintings, and historical relics, they touched the long-standing Chinese artistic traditions and felt the profound heritage unique to Chinese civilization. Subtly yet firmly, their cultural foundation was strengthened, and their cultural confidence was solidified.

Bidding farewell to the bustling metropolis, the tour headed to the ancient city of Suzhou in Jiangnan, immersing themselves in the unique charm of Chinese garden aesthetics and classical poetry. They visited the renowned Humble Administrator's Garden, with its scattered pavilions, winding bridges over flowing water, and rockeries and flowers complementing each other. Walking through the meandering corridors and serene courtyards, they appreciated the unique design wisdom of "harmony between man and nature" inherent in classical Chinese gardens. The ingenious designs—where every window framed a different view and every step revealed a new scene—showcased the ancient aesthetic sensibilities. Amidst the elegant and tranquil garden scenery, the young travelers relaxed, cultivating their aesthetic taste within the beautiful fusion of nature and architecture, and experiencing the gentle romance of Chinese aesthetics.

Next, they visited Hanshan Temple and the Maple Bridge Scenic Area. The verses from the textbook poem "Night Mooring at Maple Bridge" were no longer just words on a page. Accompanied by the distant, resonant sound of the temple bell, they paused by the river, appreciating the timeless poem against the real-life scenery before them. They immersed themselves in the profound artistic conception of Tang poetry and felt up close the warm and weighty temperament of Jiangnan culture. Through this prolonged immersion in a poetic atmosphere, the students' literary appreciation and humanistic sentiments were richly nourished.

The third stop of the tour arrived in Hangzhou, where the scenic beauty of West Lake and profound patriotic sentiments intertwined perfectly. Everyone gazed upon the panoramic view of West Lake, taking in the beautiful scenery of hills on three sides and the lake in the center. During the tour, they strolled slowly along the lakeside, connecting the landscape before their eyes with the poems they had learned in class. They recited classic descriptive verses in groups, deeply experiencing the unique romance and charm of classical Chinese poetry amidst the lake and mountain views and the resounding recitations.

A highly educational stop on this journey was the Yue Fei Temple. All the students lined up neatly, dressed in uniform attire, and paid tribute to the national hero Yue Fei with solemn reverence. Inside the main hall, they recited "The River All Red" in unison. The impassioned and powerful recitation echoed through the hall, every word filled with sincerity. In this solemn and dignified ceremonial atmosphere, the hero's spirit of unwavering loyalty to the country was deeply imprinted in the hearts of every young person, and their patriotism was profoundly elevated at that moment.

Inspiring Studies at Zhejiang University – To motivate students to set long-term academic goals, the study tour specially arranged a visit to Zhejiang University. Everyone walked through the scholarly campus of ZJU, observing the rich learning atmosphere and vibrant innovative spirit everywhere. As they walked along the campus paths, they listened attentively to the hundred-year development history of the university and gained a deep understanding of the scholarly spirit and contemporary pursuit embodied in its motto of "Seeking Truth and Innovation." Surrounded by this top-tier institution of higher learning, the young students witnessed firsthand the dedication and exploration of university scholars. A sense of motivation and aspiration arose within them, and they resolved to study diligently and scale the heights of knowledge, gaining a clearer direction for their future endeavors and life ideals.
