The COVID-19 pandemic has continued to surge across various regions. As the virus spreads, many places nationwide have reported related infection cases, and the epidemic prevention situation remains extremely severe. Once again, the country's tourism industry has plummeted to rock bottom, with travel agencies being directly ordered to suspend operations due to government epidemic control requirements. This wave of the pandemic hits differently than before—after more than a year of perseverance, the travel agency sector has been suffering continuous losses, and by now, most companies have nearly exhausted their reserves. With the domestic epidemic situation showing signs of improvement, everyone had pinned their hopes on this summer to make up for previous losses and regain some vitality. However, the resurgence of the pandemic has abruptly extinguished the glimmer of hope that had just begun to arise.

In truth, this is precisely the time when tourism professionals should think more rationally about the future. The market does not sympathize with tears, nor can resentment save this industry. We must recognize that circumstances are beyond our control, yet they can also shift very rapidly. What we lose today may well be regained in a few years—but by then, if we ourselves lack strength, it will still be to no avail. Therefore, the most urgent task at present is to figure out how to keep this industry from being easily defeated, how to survive, and how to build up strength for the future.

Kangyi tourism professionals have long grown accustomed to instability and have come to view ups and downs with equanimity. Yet we hold onto a steadfast hope for the survival of our industry, never letting go of any opportunity for self-rescue. This is our company culture: "Persevere until dawn." The pandemic comes in waves, delivering blow after blow; we may suffer repeated defeats, but we will also fight back time and again. The pandemic will eventually come to an end. When our shared conviction coalesces into a united force and evolves into a movement, we will ultimately achieve victory and embark on a new journey. For now, the priority lies in training our staff—upgrading and acquiring new skills, vigorously pursuing self-sustaining initiatives, seeking new partnerships, and, most importantly, maintaining a rational vision for the future, building unshakable confidence, and creating a better tomorrow.
